Stephen walked in my office to check in on me as is his custom each morning, "How are the patients at the hospital?"
"Two died." I wasn't feeling very talkative today, not that I generally am.
"That is good" he replied, chuckling.
"How is that good?"
"Last time sixteen died instantly."
"From what?"
"From the accident" he said, referring to a car accident which had happened earlier in the week.
"Oh i'm talking about the malnourished children."
"Pump them."
"Huh?"
"Pump them with vitamins."
"Oh, OK. I don't have much control over that."
He shrugged and walked out.
